Will an AIM case fit my keyboard?
Every AIM 60% case fits the Wooting 60HE+, 60HE v2, Rakka60 Atlas, Babao 60HE and any standard GH60-layout PCB. The BONE80 is built only for the Wooting 80HE. Not sure about your board? Send us the model and we'll confirm before you order.
Do I need modding experience?
No. It's a drop-in swap: unscrew your PCB, seat it in the AIM case, screw it down. No soldering, no cutting. Most people are done in under ten minutes with the included tools. The AIMCUBE adds mount options, but its default setup is just as simple.
What actually changes when I leave the stock plastic case?
Weight, sound and stability. CNC aluminum kills the hollow stock sound, keeps the board planted during fast flicks, and anodized finish doesn't wear the way coated plastic does. It's the single biggest feel upgrade a Wooting owner can make.
Can I put my own artwork on the rear plate?
Yes, on the AIM60X and the BONE80. Send your artwork after checkout; we lay it out, confirm it with you, then machine it. The plate swaps with four screws, so you can change it later. It's the same system our creator builds use.
What's the difference between the AIMCUBE mounts?
The AIMCUBE does three: gasket for a softer, cushioned feel, top mount for a firmer and more direct one, and an O-ring setup that recreates the stock Wooting 60HE v2 feel. You can switch between them. No other 60% case does all three.
